THE SCAM - Sic World CD (2011)

 

Dark 'n' dirty hardcore from New Hampshire. This band should be the first thing you think of when it comes to "horror-punk" and not some wannabe Misfits bullshit. On this disc you get their 1986 EP "Everything Ends In Rot", their then-unreleased "Sic World" album from '87 as well as demos, live and comp tracks.

VA - Let's Start A Riot...Vol. 1...In Holland! EP (19??)

Next up we got a sick-ass 7" sampler bursting at the seams with 80's hardcore punk from the land of wooden shoes and windmills. I've posted Pure Hate and Amsterdamned here before if you wanna hear more of their sheeeit. Volume 2 is a double EP of Swedish HC punk that also looks worth getting a hold of.

ÄNI(X)VÄX - Schock Und Drama LP (2021)

 

Found these Krauts through the URBAN DECLINE Volume 3 mixtape. They put out a live-demo tape in '84 and appeared on a ton of comps, so I guess this LP is somewhat of a "greatest hits".

SNAKE RUN - S/T EP (2012)

 

Hardcore from Bellingham, Washington. Originally released on cassette in 2005 and reissued as a single-sided 12" in 2012. Their vocalist eventually moved up to Vancouver B.C., fronting VACANT STATE and CHEAP APPEAL.

NINTH CONFIGURATION - Vegas tape (1990)

 

Bought this tape for $5 at a little shop on Vancouver Island last month. Never heard them before but I was familiar with the name and knew they were from Calgary. This was their second and final release before half the band went on to play in FIELD DAY.
